Our volunteers work hard but have lots of fun too!! In December 2013 a group of our ladies got together at Tai Lung Fun bar in Wanchai to toast the end of another succesful year in the Foundation's fundraising calander and to say thank you to those who make it possible. Laura Kidd came along and presented a cheque for HK12,000 from the Irish Chamber, Young Professionals Group and we'd like to thank both her and her colleagues for their support and generosity.
March 2014 this year saw the reinstatement of the Volunteers coffee morning which enables all the various CNCF HK teams and potential volunteers to meet up in a social environment. This particular gathering was held at Cafe 8, Central Ferry Pier No. 8. The venue chosen not just for it's great location but also because it is a unique social enterprise run by The Nesbitt Centre to create vocational training and employment opportunities for its students. Around 16 of our volunteers gathered for coffee and delicious treats.
And most recently this April, a group of our hardworking Ladies Long Lunch event's volunteers gathered for champagne and supper at the beautful Pokfulam home of Cheryl Fender, one of our longest serving volunteers. Lots of fizz was opened in celebration of the recent and wonderful success of the Lunch where 1.2million was raised for the children in our care.
The Foundation's ongoing and continued success is largely due to the dedication and commitment of all our volunteers - and we thank you all, most sincerely.

HK$7 is all it takes each day to feed a child at the CNCF Tay Ninh Centre for Visually Impaired Children in Vietnam. That's the same as buying a bottle of Bon Aqua water in Hong Kong.
